Terms, privacy, and how our reports may be used.
These policies govern use of FuneralConvergence.com and the reports, datasets, and intelligence programs supplied by Funeral Convergence. Last updated 25 September 2026.
Terms of Use
Funeral Convergence is owned by Pacific Funeral Holdings, Inc., a California corporation. These terms apply to everyone who uses this website or receives a report, dataset, or intelligence program from Pacific Funeral Holdings, Inc. through Funeral Convergence ("Funeral Convergence", "we", "us").
What we provide
Funeral Convergence prepares market-share, disposition, and competitive intelligence reporting built from official filed records and other official disposition data. Reports are professionally prepared documents describing recorded and normalized data for a stated geography and reporting period.
Ordering
Reports are ordered by completing the order form for the product and returning it to us. Some products, including Competitive Intelligence, are quoted on request rather than ordered from a form; a quote request is not an order. An order is accepted only when we confirm it in writing. We may decline an order, and we may withdraw or change a product where the underlying source records change or become unavailable.
Fees and payment
Fees are those stated on the applicable order form, or in our written quote, at the time the order is accepted. Payment arrangements are handled directly with Funeral Convergence.
Payment information. Funeral Convergence does not collect or process credit-card information through this website. Customers may provide payment information by telephone, email, fax or postal mail. Telephone information is entered directly into our payment processor and is not written down. Mailed payment information is securely destroyed immediately after processing. Funeral Convergence does not retain complete card numbers or card security codes. We retain the non-card order record and limited transaction information needed for accounting and customer service.
Renewals
Monthly and quarterly reports renew automatically until canceled. Cancel by email to [email protected] before the next billing date. Cancellation applies to future periods. Reports already delivered are nonrefundable.
Selecting “Contact me about future reporting and subscriptions” on an order form gives us permission to contact you. It does not authorize any further charge.
Your responsibilities
- Supply accurate information on order forms, including the establishments, counties, and periods you are asking about.
- Use the reports only as permitted in the Report Licensing section below.
- Do not present our reporting as an official record of any government agency or as a certified vital record.
No professional advice
Our reports are information products. They are not legal, financial, tax, valuation, or investment advice, and they are not a substitute for professional judgement or your own due diligence. Decisions you make using a report remain yours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Funeral Convergence is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from use of the website or the reports. Our total liability in connection with a report is limited to the fees paid for that report.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Pacific Funeral Holdings, Inc., the owner of Funeral Convergence, collects from visitors and customers, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, business name, role, email address, telephone number, the markets you ask about, and anything else you enter on a form or send us with an order.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps.
We do not ask for, and do not want, personal information about decedents or families from you. Our reporting is built from official filed records that we obtain directly.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To process, deliver, and support an order.
- To keep records required for our own accounting and legal obligations.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the website.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who host our website, deliver our email, or process card payments (Square), and only as needed for those functions, or where we are required to by law. Square processes card payments under its own privacy policy.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, request deletion, and request correction. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].
Retention
Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, then reviewed and deleted or anonymized by Funeral Convergence staff. Order and transaction records are kept for seven years from order completion, which is the date the final report covered by the order has been delivered and paid for. A retained transaction record may include the customer, the order, the amount, the date, the payment processor’s transaction ID and the last four digits of the card. It never includes a complete card number or card security code. Records subject to a legal hold are kept until the hold ends.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies or use advertising trackers. We keep anonymous traffic totals on our own server, such as the number of visits and pages viewed, and keep them for 12 months. We do not identify or track individual visitors. We do not track visitors over time or across other websites, so the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. What your browser allows is controlled by your browser settings. The forms send what you enter to us by email. If a form cannot be sent, the submission is held on our server for up to 14 days so we can fix the fault and contact you, then deleted.

Report Licensing and Permitted Use
Every report and dataset Pacific Funeral Holdings, Inc. supplies through Funeral Convergence is licensed, not sold. The license is what you are paying for, and it sets what you may do with the document.
What your license allows
- Internal use within the organization named on the order form, including its owners, employees, and directly engaged professional advisers.
- Using the findings to inform your own marketing, operational, acquisition, and planning decisions.
- Quoting limited figures in your own internal materials, attributed to Funeral Convergence.
What it does not allow
- Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, or publishing the report or dataset, in whole or in substantial part.
- Sharing it with another operator, competitor, or organization not named on the order form.
- Republishing our tables, rankings, or figures publicly, including in advertising, press materials, or social media, without our written permission.
- Using the data to build a competing product or a derived dataset for distribution.
- Removing or obscuring any attribution, source note, or limitations statement in the document.
Enterprise and multi-location licensing
Corporate Intelligence and Enterprise programs are licensed on their own terms, covering the locations, states, historical coverage, delivery formats, and annual internal-use rights set out in that agreement. Where those terms differ from this page, the program agreement governs.
Attribution
Where we permit a figure to be used externally, it must be attributed to Funeral Convergence and carry the reporting period it came from.
Data Sources and Limitations
Our reporting is built from official filed records and official disposition data. It describes recorded and normalized data, and it is only ever as complete as the records filed in that jurisdiction.
- Available data fields, reporting periods, geographic detail, disposition categories, and update frequency vary by jurisdiction and source.
- Specific measurements depend on the available source records and reporting structure within each jurisdiction.
- Records filed late, amended, or filed in another jurisdiction may not appear in the period in which the death occurred.
- A report is not an official record and is not certified by any government agency.
Where a figure cannot be supported by the available records, we say so in the report rather than estimating it.
